Amibit Develops New Battery Management System for Improved Efficiency and Cost Savings

Amibit, a European-based technology company, has developed a new battery management system that aims to optimize the performance of batteries in a variety of settings. One of the primary benefits of Reduxi controller is its ability to solve the problems with peak power and to increase the energy efficiency.

Reduxi Controller provides the applications for cost-saving measures, such as lowering peak power on the main grid. In one example, a system with 6 car chargers, a solar power plant, and a battery was designed to keep total consumption under 60 KW in order to reduce costs on the electrical bill. To achieve this, Reduxi Controller limits the power of car chargers when the total production power reaches 58 KW, providing a safety distance to avoid going over the maximum limit. The strategy operates based on main meter measurements and aims to protect fuses from failure by keeping the current below 140 A on each fuse. The system's safety distance helps ensure that even with slow communication or unexpected device usage, total power consumption remains under 60 KW.
