Can we connect Heat Pump to Reduxi?

Can Reduxi connect and regulate the heat pump?

In short. Yes.

Our partner E-ING (Aleksander Lončarič) uses Reduxi to solve peak power problems for his customer (preventing fuse blow). Additionally, with monitoring in place, optimization and cost reduction follow. Maybe flexibility on top?

How easy or hard is it to add a new heat pump to Reduxi?

First, the heat pump needs to support some kind of communication. Currently, we support TCP-IP, RS485, M-bus, OCPP (in development), TTL and EMS (in development).

Second, we need documentation on how to read/write data from/to the heat pump (register table). After that, our development team does the magic and depending on the difficulty of implementation, a customer can select heat pump - model. E-ING (Aleksander Lončarič) asked us to support NIBE Heat Pumps - NIBE. Consider it done :).

Reduxi can now monitor all the data, provide charts for additional insights and also provide export data functionality.
